how do you connect a panasonic hdc-sd1 to final cut pro 6?

Plug in your camera to the a USB port, you may need to install the drivers, it should just come up as a drive, then find the videos, copy them to your computer/Mac, then depending on the format you simply import them into FCP, you may have to convert them if FCP does not support the video format.
