Panasonic Pv-gs9

I have a Panasonic PV-GS9 Mini DV and I can not get all programs that open when you are connected, said installed?

The team says it is reading of the camera, but refuses to open any of my programs I have visited many web sites, and still no luck, I have hooked and unhooked the camera so many times its not funny, please help me I just want to see my records, this should not be this difficult is it?

The Panasonic PV-GS9 video camera is a MiniDV tape based. The DV port on ALL miniDV tape based camcorder is 4-pin Firewire connector. The other side of the firewire cable 4-pin can be and 6-pin FireWire400 9-pin or FireWire 800. Depends on the computer has firewire port. The most common are 4 pin and 6 pin firewire ports. Apple's newest MacBook Pro uses FireWire 800 port 9 pin. If your computer has a firewire port, hopefully you have an available expansion slot so you can add one. USB will not work. USB FireWire converter adapters will not work. The camera is turned off. Connect the AC power source video camera camcorder and a known power AC output of work. FireWire cable to connect the DV port and FireWire port on your computer. Place the camcorder in "Play" or "VCR" mode. Run video editor. Import the video.
